Emre is many things, and I feel I probably caught just a glimpse of who he is or can be.

The location is my favourite on Porto Santo, an island in Madeira’s archipelago in Portugal,. Here we sit between the desert dunes,or “dunas” in Portuguese.. What I faced here was the courage of a man to get naked, making himself vulnerable, and I tried to picture having faith in life.

What came out is a celebration of the male figure,  dignity and human creation which is too often framed by more renowned shots.
