I spent almost 1 year in Madeira’s archipelago, a place that doesn’t need more touristic pictures for its introduction. Even so, it’s always a nice challenge to reinterpret a subject by imprinting my point and perception onto it. As for the Italian Landscape series, these islands are changing with global warming and so the photography process enriches itself with a documentary aspect.
The idea is to continue to populate this series during the years with more landscapes taken from islands across the 7 seas.
